Maddie Brown(2003) was born in Odessa, Texas and currently lives and works in Houston. She graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2D studio and a minor in Photography, mastering a variety of mediums. She draws inspiration from memories and domestic structures, giving her multimedia work a distinctive sculptural quality. Her work has been recognized with Best of Show at the Student Art Association Juried Show, Huntsville (2025), and Honorable Mention at the Juried Show juried by CAMH curator Patricia Restrepo, Huntsville (2025). She is currently completing her teaching program and is projected to begin her career as an art teacher in the 2026 school year, while continuing to create and exhibit her work.
